Broj Srba
Stalno se čuje da Srba ima malo. Da nije baš tako, pokazuje sledeća računica. Ako se uzme da je ukupan broj ljudi na Zemlji šest milijardi, a broj Srba (ovde i u dijaspori) deset miliona, to onda ispada da je svaki šestoti stanovnik na svetu Srbin. A ako idemo dalje, i broj Srba poredimo sa ukupnim brojem belaca, kojih nema više od jedne milijarde, to je onda svaki stoti (1%) belac Srbin. A to nije malo. A ako hoćemo da vidimo koliko njih razume srpski (računajući Hrvate, Bugare, Ruse i ostale), onda treba da pazimo šta govorimo negde u inostranstvu, jer svaki treći ili četvrti belac će nas razumeti, a od ukupnog broja ljudi na Zemlji njih oko 5%.
